Don’t make assumptions. Please note that you cannot know the gender, sexuality, background, ability or limitations of others. Respect each other and behave well. Respect everyone’s right to define or not define themselves.

Do not discriminate. We do not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, transphobia or ableism. Caring for each other and the environment; taking care of ourselves, people, the environment and common goods.

Respect the personal space and physical integrity of others. Do not verbally harass, touch or stare at anyone.

Be ready to receive feedback and change your behaviour if necessary.

Always ask permission to photograph others.

Implementing the principles of safer spaces is everyone’s responsibility. Let’s work together to create a safer space for all. Do not disturb others and intervene when necessary.

If you notice or experience any insecurity at an Night of the Arts event, please intervene and/or contact the Arts Producer or the event organiser with a low threshold. Together, we can make Night of the Arts events safe for all.
