Early pearl of experimental cinema from 1924. Duration 20 min. A short film directed by Fernand Léger and Dudley Murphy focuses on visual form of the object instead of plot. How do things look without their rational and symbolic meaning?
Movie is presented as part of Alvar Aalto’s anniversary. It has been screened in Finland’s first film club, Filmistudio Projektio, in it’s opening night in 1934. One of the founding members of the club was Alvar Aalto.
