Symphony Concert: Sounds of the North

The Lapland Chamber Orchestra will join forces with its Northern Norwegian partner, the Arktisk Filharmoni, for concerts in Tromsø and Bodø in September, as well as on Sunday 13 September at 19.00 at Rovaniemi Church.

The soloist in the concerts conducted by John Storgårds is the violinist Johan Dalene, who took Rovaniemi by storm the year before last and who will now perform the much-loved Sibelius Violin Concerto. The programme also features other Nordic music, and there will be an interval during the performance. The Rovaniemi concert will also bring the events of the Rovaniemi Night of the Arts anniversary year to a magnificent close.
