Roller disco and sticker workshop
Do you like stickers or dancing? Have you ever wanted to learn how to rollerblade or make your own stickers?
Now you can do both, as Rovaniemi roller derby ry is organizing a roller derby and sticker workshop on the Rovaniemi Night of the Arts on 6.9.2025 at Keltakangas sports hall at 18-19:30! Admission to the event is free, you can pay what you want for skating.
The association will lend skating equipment and teach how to skate on quad skates. You can also come and skate on your own quad skates suitable for indoor use. Helmets, knee, wrist and elbow pads are compulsory when skating at the event. There is no upper age limit for the event. All adults participate at their own risk. Children under 18 years of age may skate with parental permission and children under 14 years of age only with parental supervision. The association is not liable in case of accident.
In the sticker workshop you can design and make stickers by hand! We provide all the necessary materials and instructions for making stickers. The workshop is free, and you get to take your stickers home with you! The workshop will be led by club member Inka Matilainen.
Rovaniemi roller derby fan products will be available for sale at the event.

Accessibility
Participants must comply with the Rovaniemi roller derby ry’s safer space policy.
The event space is accessible. The roller table is at street level and access is from the rear of the building, from the north-facing car park. There are several changing rooms, each with a toilet. There is also an accessible toilet at the end of the corridor.
The sticker workshop is located on the second floor of the space, accessible from the south-facing door at the back of the building. The space has an accessible toilet and two large toilets with stalls and one with urinals. Access between floors is by stairs.
There is music playing loudly on the reelstand and there may be flashing lights. There is no music playing in the sticker workshop, but the music in the hall can be heard at a lower volume. There are no flashing lights in the workshop.
