Queer Magic Club

A safe and magical evening for everyone to be and perform just as they are 💜 The idea behind the event is to give space to more than just chatty uncles and playboys. Come and enjoy an atmosphere of gentleness and acceptance in the form of embarrassing writings and chick energy✨

The evening starts with an open mic of embarrassing writings! The text could be a desk drawer poem or a lyric that’s just too syrupy, a teenage diary entry or a homoerotic fanfic written as an inexperienced writer. You can also send your text to the presenter to read, just in case you’re too embarrassed.

The highlight of the evening will be a performance by Ilo(iset) tytöt, a female folk band that was conceived in Savonlinna. Ilo(iset) tytöt plays gently anarchistic, family-friendly song and instrumental music. If you’re looking for your next chick, try us three by three!
