PLAYGROUND!

PLAYGROUND! is a dance piece performed at the Lapland Student Theatre in the spring of 2026, combining play, playfulness, collaborative activity and scientific research. The piece forms part of Taru Kallio’s Master’s thesis, and its thematic basis is Roger Caillois’s theory of play, in which play is divided into four categories: Combat, Games of Chance, Role-play and Vertigo. Free admission; the café is open.
