Artists for the night
WILSSON
Wilsson is an up-and-coming rap artist from Rovaniemi.
His characteristic features are a smooth and elegant flow, and lyrics that open up his own thoughts in a down-to-earth way. Different sounds and rhythms do not set limits for the artist, but rather open new doors.
On stage, the artist is at home, delivering songs while having fun and spreading good vibes.
During the evening, local talent will take to the stage, and you can listen to unreleased music.
EEVIL STÖÖ
Eevil Stöö, who has been in the game for twenty years, is an original gem of Finnish rap, with chart toppers and a Teosto award under his belt.
The artist, known for his hard work, has already released an Advanced Dungeons & Dragons EP and a Back on my Bullshit EP this year, with more to come!
STEPA
Favouring a warm and conscious approach, Stepa’s rhymes are full of horsepower and high-voltage energy. Today, Stepa’s music increasingly speaks of the value of time and life, without forgetting the greatest of forces: peace and love.
TIGHT NIGHT CLUB RETURNS TO ROVANIEMI!
House? Techno? Yes, definitely. But mom, what was skweee? Or baile funk or was it uk funky? Or how about footwork and “tubbistepp”?
22.02.2011 – After these first few gigs, the night’s faith in Tight Night to deliver a wide range of soul-stirring and foot-stomping electronic music was strong. But even more essential over the years was the dance floor – the people. The same crowd was there year after year to enjoy the buzz of the night, the ultimate feeling, which even today is still most conveniently achieved by surrendering to the rhythm.
Admittedly, perhaps the good, funny and even strange conversations between the jovial visitors during the breathing and drinking breaks also contributed to the good party spirit and the uplifting team spirit.
One way or another, Tight Night managed to gather people in Rovaniemi’s nightlife 15 times between 2011 and 2015 for a common ritual, which was accompanied by resident tiki stars as well as guest stars from the bigger churches and local new names. The grande finale, the last Tight Night club night so far, was enjoyed on a smooth May Day evening on 30 April 2015 – and here we go again.
This time DJ Dats, Oivo, Turmaani, Mkrf and Cryeye will be responsible for the evergreen hits and modern novelties of the evening. PLUR!
