National costumes – tradition and the present day

A display of the Rovaniemi Kalevala folk costumes at the Kansalaistalo. Crafts teacher Sirkka Juntunen talks about the ‘Peräpohjola Remix’ project, which involves creating new designs based on traditional national costume patterns. The Kalevala group will showcase their costumes. Coffee will be served at the start.
