As the city darkens in autumn, a group of curious listeners gather in Wiljami to experience alternative music from near and far..

The Wiljami House of Culture is pushing the event towards a common journey of discovery, as the lingering autumnal atmosphere is served to us:

The Rovaniemi-based Keiju makes original, ethereal (poetry) rap and songs. Her production includes melancholic atmospherics as well as more playful mockery: genre-independence is important to the artist.
Their self-released debut project “ounasjoki EP” was released in January. Currently, Keiju is working on his upcoming rap album WINXTAPE, which will be released in autumn.


HITES is a British-Finnish unapologetic post-punk band from Helsinki. Founded in 2023, the multinational band has gained a cult following in Helsinki’s underground punk scene through their charged and humorous live performances.

A raw, hinge-less song roars straight from the belly of the bread line, wrapped in irony and heavy distortion. Musically, HITES mixes nuances of punk, metal and funk with just the right amount of experimentalism. The result is a unique sound that takes on a life of its own.

The event is for all ages and is aimed at anyone looking for a new experience of Rovaniemi’s music scene, those who are just getting to know it or those who feel they have seen it all.
