You don’t have to go fishing further out to sea, and you don’t have to look further than your own kitchen for visually interesting ingredients. The techniques used in the “the Kitchen” series of photographs include analogue printmaking, polymer gravure, cyanotype and photogram. Thanks to the experimental application of the latter two, the cabbage and lettuce in the series are seen in a new light, alongside more classical still lifes.
