At the “Get to know Valoasema!” event in Rinteenkulma (opposite Clas Ohlson), participants can get to know the association’s activities, the board and other members, and develop activities together. Past and future projects of the association will be presented, and there will also be musical performances, including a performance by local artist Kakstahti Kumpulainen. The aim of the event is to hear what participants want from the Valoasema.
The aim of the association is to create a functioning cultural ecosystem in Rovaniemi and to support the transformation of the Valoasema into a cultural centre. The objectives for 2024 include consolidating activities, assessing the condition of the Valoasema, recruiting members and developing cooperation with the city’s decision-makers and cultural operators.
